Bondage bunny – outfit post

This is something that won’t surprise anyone: I love playing dress up. When I was little, I watched this made for tv animated version of Sleeping Beauty and spent the rest of the afternoon lying perfectly still, draped in the costume jewellery my grandma had stocked my dress up box with.

Now that I am a little bit older than four, I still love dressing up – it’s why I’ve pursued acting on and off, and it’s why my wardrobe doesn’t close. I love being different characters, I love taking an element of my personality and amplifying it through my clothes and my makeup, and I especially love it if that element is a little bit naughty.

This week’s outfit post is one of those parts of me. Take one playboy bunny, dip her in black, wrap her in chains and tousle her a little bit. Serve like frost bite – hot and cool, all at once.

Clothes

Black bandage skirt from Missguided. You can buy it here.

Black fishnet top by Lip Service, from Dolls Kill. It’s listed here, but it’s out of stock.

Black deep v criss cross body from Missguided. It’s no longer listed, sorry 🙁

Black bondage choker with heart, by Club Exx, from Dolls Kill. It’s listed here, but it’s out of stock.

Black leather triple buckle boots, ‘Enza’ by ASOS. You can buy them here.

Bunny ears are from H&M, but I can’t find them anywhere online!

Makeup

Skin – Foundation is MAC Mineralize Moisture SPF 15 in NW 15.

Highlighter is Benefit High Beam.

The brush I used to apply it all was, once again, the one that TWO POUNDS from PRIMARK and looks exactly like one of those Artis brushes that looks like a spoon. They list one that’s a little bigger on their website. I love it so much. I have a super expensive mac brush that is nowhere near as good as this one.

EyebrowsAnastasia Beverly Hills Dipbrow Pomade in Taupe.

Eyes – I created a smoky eye using Divine, Icon and Aura from my Lime Crime Venus palette.

Then I did a nice thick cat eye with gel eyeliner from Maybelline, and then a lot of False Lashes Extreme Black mascara by mac, which I got a tester of and am now in love with.

Sorry Diorshow, it’s nothing personal, I’ve just met someone new.

Nyx make up setting spray in a dewy finish.

LipsMac lip pencil in Burgundy and mac matte lipstick in Sin.
